From food to music to fashion, CultureMap’s signature events have become essential to the cities we serve. If you want intimate access to the trendsetters and tastemakers who attend our events, we should talk. Although our events are seriously fun, we are all business when it comes to delivering results. Whether your goal is lead generation, social media buzz, product sampling, or email acquisition, we can help. Drop a line to network marketing director Jessica Baldwin (email@example.com) to learn more.
The Tastemaker Awards is our annual tribute to the very best in the local restaurant and bar industries. In addition to a special editorial series devoted to touting the nominees — in such categories as Restaurant of the Year, Chef of the Year, and Best New Restaurant — we honor the culinary talent with a blowout bash featuring signature bites from the contenders, specialty cocktails, beer and wine, and an awards program during which we announce the winners.
CultureMap Socials are quarterly happy hours for young professionals. But these are not boring networking events; they are cool, interactive weekday parties that have ranged in theme from arts to innovation. In this video, watch the fun unfold at the CultureMap Social: Ultra Edition, presented by Tequila Herradura. It was a white party with a twist, where the venue transformed from white to color through live painting, a life-sized Light Brite, a spin-art booth, and a flower wall installation. Even the food got more colorful.
The Stylemaker Awards is our annual celebration of the most fashionable men and women in town. The public submits nominations, our expert panel selects the semifinalists, and then our readers vote on their favorite Stylemakers. The finalists put their styling skills to the test in a unique fashion show, which has been held at Tootsies in the Plaza at Preston Center, our partner. In this video, you can see the stylish party for yourself.
The CultureMap Holiday Pop-up Shop is so much more than a holiday market. We recruit the best local brands — from clothing and jewelry to home goods and gourmet edibles — to sell their stuff under one roof. But shopping isn't the only item on the agenda. The event also features an onsite cafe with snacks and sweets, a crafting table for the kids, live entertainment, and pictures with Santa. Watch the video to see how fun and family-friendly it is.
