Fort Worth’s own Delbert McClinton and six-time Grammy winner Buddy Guy will headline the 2017 Bedford Blues & BBQ Festival. The blues legends lead an impressive showcase that includes Ronnie Earl, Marcia Ball, and a host of local talent. The jam-packed event swings into full gear Saturday afternoon and culminates with an evening lineup featuring Ronnie Earl. Earl is a three-time Blues Music Award winner and he’ll hit the main stage with his band The Broadcasters.

Delbert McClinton closes out Saturday night’s show. The multi-talented singer-songwriter, guitarist, harmonica player, and pianist brings it all back home with his special brand of blues/rock.

The hits just keep on coming with Marcia Ball and Buddy Guy on Sunday. Ball is a five-time Grammy-nominated artist. She’s a Louisiana native who’s been an icon of the Austin music scene since the early 1970’s. Buddy Guy makes his fifth Bedford appearance. Guy’s a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and six-time Grammy award winner whose professional career spans a half-century.

While these blues artists sizzle on stage, pit masters from around the world will be cooking in a Kansas City Barbecue Society competition. The Bedford cookoff is a nationally recognized event that’s been featured on several TV shows including BBQ Pitmasters and other reality series in the U.S and Canada. It hosts a heated field of world class competitors including multiple BBQ Pitmaster contestants. Guests can sample the very best these pros have to offer at the People’s Choice Event and Battle of the BBQ, 3-5 pm Saturday and Sunday.
