The Fort Worth Aviation Museum will celebrate its fourth annual veteran’s recognition and beer fest, Hops and Props, which will coincide with the museum’s 20th anniversary. The airplane and beer fest is dedicated to recognizing veterans while serving local craft beers and providing live music, food and family-friendly fun.

This year’s theme is “Top Gun” and will include a dedication of a F-14 “Tomcat” and F-5 “Tiger II.” More family-oriented events will include military vehicles, Vietnam Era Veterans Recognition, live music, military living history, family-friendly vendors, Veteran’s service organizations, food and refreshments, kid’s activities, beer flights and helicopter rides.

Beer flights will be available for purchase on a classic airplane, the C-47 “Southern Cross.” Each passenger will receive a souvenir bag and tasting glass. A “People’s Choice” medal will be awarded to the most-voted brewery in a variety of beer styles.
