To close the 2016-17 season, pianist Vadym Kholodenko performs Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, a work known for its soaring lyricism and spiky dissonances, for his final concert with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra as Artistic Partner. Also on the program, Dvorák’s much-anticipated Symphony No. 9 (“From the New World”) and Shostakovich’s pyrotechnic Festive Overture.
