The Goodguys 6th Spring Lone Star Nationals is a giant colorful “cool cars, cool people and good times” hot rod & custom car festival featuring over 2,000 hot rods, customs, classics, street rods, muscle cars, and trick trucks through 1972 vintage nestled into the infield of the Texas Motor Speedway. In addition to the car show, the festival will include vendor exhibits, a swap meet and cars-for-sale area, special “themed” parking areas on Saturday, Goodguys Autocross (to test vehicle agility and performance), track cruise around the high-banked TMS oval for registered show car participants, Team Texas race car rides (Saturday), model car show, kids fun—PPG Coloring contest, Revell model car kit make n’ take sessions, and lots of fun for the entire family.
Sunday, March 13, will feature the K&N Filters All American Sunday, open to all years American made and powered vehicles. Participants who enter on Sunday will able to run the Goodguys AutoCross, be a part of the show n’ shine and be eligible for the awards on Sunday.
The event is the second event of the Rod & Custom Association’s 20-event national tour for 2016.
