Third branch of authentic Mexican restaurant from El Fenix owner Mike Karns is the first in Tarrant County and follows the lead of the two locations in Dallas. Chef Nico Sanchez pulls from regions in Central and Southern Mexico, including Yucatan, Vera Cruz, and Chiapas. Specialties include cochinita pibil and chicken with mole. Unusual cocktails include a margarita with avocado and pineapple. Location sits in the old Kress Building, built in 1936, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
