The new movie theater coming to The Shops at Clearfork, Fort Worth's luxury lifestyle destination on the former Edwards Ranch, will open with eats that go beyond the usual popcorn.
The AMC Dine-In Clearfork 8, opening on May 23, will feature an in-house eatery, with flatbreads, chicken tenders, and more.
Clearfork will be one of three AMC "Dine-In" theaters in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, along with Grapevine and Mesquite.
AMC Dine-In theaters have "Delivery to Seat" service wherein a server comes to your seat in the auditorium and takes your order. There is also a silent call button that summons the server if you need anything else during the movie. The check is delivered near the end of the show.
But Clearfork will differ slightly from the model at the other two DFW-area Dine-In theaters, with an extra option: Moviegoers can stop at the concession area and choose from a menu there.
Once the food is ready, an AMC staffer delivers it to your seat, hopefully before the movie begins, but unobtrusively regardless of when it happens.
Menu items include pepperoni flatbread, chips and guacamole, chicken bacon mac & cheese, Southwest chicken bowl, and chicken tenders.
Clearfork also has a "Build Your Own Burger" concept, allowing you to customize your burger; dessert milkshakes; and a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.
Other amenities at the include online ticketing, reserved seating, ticketless entry, power recliner seating, and Dolby cinema.
And coming soon for the over-21 crowd will be MacGuffins, AMC's bar concept, offering beer, wine and cocktails to enjoy before, during, or after the movie.
The opening lineup for the theater includes Book Club, Deadpool 2, Avengers: Infinity War, I Feel Pretty, Life of the Party, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The Shops at Clearfork boasts home furnishing and specialty retailers, entertainment, restaurants, and offices, including anchor Neiman Marcus, bowling spot Pintsripes, and a host of restaurants including B&B Butchers, City Works, Fixe Southern House, and many more.
