Where to Shop Now
Where to shop in Fort Worth right now: 5 must-hit stores for November
The weather finally cooled off, and, to our dismay, stores have already begun stocking Christmas decor. But those are not the places we are visiting this month. We are exploring new arrivals to Fort Worth and new product arrivals at some tried-and-true favorites.
Beehive
This sunny boutique feels like a curated H&M or Zara. New fall arrivals include lots of ’60s-inspired shapes, fall florals, and mustard and olive green options. Shop sweaters, jackets, dresses, blouses, and skirts that are great for work and play. Plus, if you need jewelry (and new sunglasses!) to tie your outfit together, Beehive has them.
Coyote Urban Boutique
Novelty dress socks have replaced pocket squares as the men’s accessory of the season, and Coyote in Sundance Square is now stocking some of the hottest styles around. From the silly dog- and taco-patterned to the hilarious I Heart Spam and Zero Fox Given, these socks are sure to start conversations. Plenty of new arrivals for the ladies stay true to Coyote’s signature urban/rustic blend.
Daiso Japan
Shop everything from groceries to home décor to beauty products and more at this Japan-based dollar (or $1.50) store, where the majority of products cost exactly six quarters. (The first one in North Texas opened in Carrollton in July 2015.) It opens November 18 on Tarrant Parkway at Interstate 35 in Fort Worth, with plenty of swag bags, giveaways, and samples.
Pax & Parker
This men’s and women’s fashion boutique founded by two TCU alumni stocks Rebecca Taylor textiles for the first (and hopefully not the last) time in a capsule pop-up. Shop work pants, silk tops, date-night blouses, and more until November 15. Owner and women’s buyer Alari Paxson’s favorite piece? A leather moto jacket with lots of zipper detail and a jersey lining.
TCU Florist
Is your usual hostess gift routine — flowers or a bottle of bubbly — getting stale? TCU Florist has a recently expanded offering of gift baskets featuring a number of new vendors, such as Fort Worth Fudge Co. Shop themed baskets like Coffee, Toffee & Fruits with Cowtown-roasted Rodak’s Coffee, or build your own basket with made-to-order Lady Jane Scones. You can buy online, but if you shop in store, you can also browse the greeting cards and holiday décor.
