Mini chain in Tarrant County does classic Tex-Mex with fajitas, tacos, tamales, and combination plates at a fair price, nice atmosphere, and prompt service. Chips and salsa come out quick, and so do the margaritas, frozen or on the rocks. There are also some American basics such as chicken wings with ranch dressing and chicken-fried steak. The original location of the family-owned Pulido's Tex Mex chain has changed very little since it opened in 1966. The food is basic but very good, especially the "Old Fashion" enchiladas, made with a mild red chile sauce.
