Detroit-based Shinola, known for American-made watches, leather goods, and even bicycles, opened its first Texas outpost in downtown Plano. It also has stores in New York, London, Los Angeles, Chicago, D.C., Minneapolis and, of course, Motor City. The brand's parent company, Bedrock Manufacturing LLC, is based in Plano.
