Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County is hosting a luncheon to honor the Ramesh and Kalpana Bhatia Family Foundation for its generous support. CIS-GTC is a 501c3 non-profit that is part of a national network of CIS programs serving more than 1.2 million students. Currently CIS-GTC is in 53 local schools, helping students who are identified by their schools as most “at-risk” to drop out. CIS-GTC serves the following independent school districts: Azle, Crowley, Everman, Fort Worth, Granbury, Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Keller and Lake Worth.
