J. Peeler Howell Fine Art will present Adam Fung's newest works in "mystic sea," which will open during Fall Gallery Night.

The paintings in "mystic sea (primarily oil and wax on linen) allude to sublime moments, connecting us to spaces that feel simultaneously real and unreal. Stepping into the ocean connects us to an entire world, below the surface, across constantly moving currents, a body that lacks finite boundaries. In suggesting an oracle-like quality to the landscape, Fung wants to pause and ask - do we look for, listen, or heed what the natural world foretells?

The exhibition will remain on display through November 2.
