Fort Worth folk musician, Izzy Jeffery will perform a solo set at the first "Kimbell Social Club" happy hour on the lawn. Chef-prepared hors d'oeuvres and half-price drinks will be available for purchase at the Pavilion Café.
A Fort Worth native, Jeffery began performing in her hometown a couple of years back as a one-woman band. Accompanied by a kick drum, a tambourine and an acoustic guitar, her sound is heavily influenced by her fascination with bluegrass and folk music, which began at a young age. In December of 2018, Jeffery released her debut EP, Live at Blackshield Studio, and she is currently working on a full-length studio album. Jeffery was previously scheduled to perform at the Kimbell Social Club in June, but local musician Ryker Hall stepped in for her.
Kimbell Social Club convenes on selected Friday evenings for a showcase of live music, hearty snacks and happy hour-priced local beer.
