The 33rd Annual Jim Bradshaw Memorial Stars in Recovery event will feature singer Ray Wylie Hubbard, a longtime cult figure among fans of outlaw country and the gritty side of Americans who specializes in hard-edged character studies and rough-hewn, compassionate meditations on life and relationships.
Since its inception, the annual Stars in Recovery Luncheon has featured well-known and beloved celebrities speaking publicly about their struggles and triumphs over alcohol substance misuse and mental health issues. Due to restrictions, this year’s Stars event will be offered both live and virtually.
Live participation will be somewhat limited due to capacity requirements. Mask wearing and social distancing will be strictly enforced.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Recovery Resource Council, North Texas’ largest non-residential non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery of thousands of individuals and families struggling with alcohol, substance misuse and trauma.
