Opening day for the new H-E-B supermarket in Mansfield has arrived
The latest H-E-B supermarket has arrived: The supermarket chain opened its H-E-B Mansfield store on June 26 — the sixth H-E-B store the San Antonio-based retailer has opened in the DFW Metroplex. Located at 1670 E. Broad St. at the corner uf US 287, the store joins recently opened locations in Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, and Alliance, as well as a recently opened Joe V’s Smart Shop Wheatland in Dallas.
“We’re excited to open our doors to this vibrant community, and our H-E-B Partners are committed to earning the confidence of our neighbors,” says Mansfield store leader Shannon Crites in a statement. “We look forward to providing customers with a dynamic shopping experience and serving Mansfield with the best of H-E-B.”
The 128,000-square-foot Mansfield store has by-now-standard features that include a True Texas BBQ restaurant with drive-thru; full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru; and Texas Backyard department with a selection of outdoor essentials.
The store also offers H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery, which allows customers to place orders online for pickup at the store or home delivery. These exciting digital services give customers choices on how they shop, pay for, and receive their products.
There's a bakery with breads, cakes, and tortillas, handmade sushi, Asian grill with rice bowls and teriyaki, prepared meals, and a Cooking Connection with live demonstrations and samplings.
There's also produce, meat, floral, beer & wine including a sampling station, frozen foods, beauty, pet products, and Wellness Nutrition Services with nutrition expertise from licensed dieticians.
Inside and out, H-E-B designed the store to reflect the character unique to the Mansfield community and emphasized environmental sustainability, incorporating several energy efficient inclusions such as CO2 refrigeration units and LED lighting. The site also features extensive native landscaping.
There's more to come: H-E-B has announced additional H-E-B stores in Melissa and Prosper, which are under construction, and Rockwall, which will break ground soon.
