The Kimbell Art Museum celebrates Art Museum Day with free admission to the special exhibition, “From the Lands of Asia: The Sam and Myrna Myers Collection.” This annual event is celebrated by museums across the globe. The 2018 theme for Art Museum Day is "Hyperconnected Museums," a recognition of the many ways in which museums serve as central points of connectivity within their communities, both online and in person.

Visitors will see this theme expressed during the Museum's popular happy hour, "Kimbell Social Club," which convenes on selected Friday evenings for a showcase of live music, hearty snacks and happy hour priced wine and locally brewed beer. This month's musical performance will feature Danni and Kris, the dynamic Fort Worth girl duo who are achieving great success in the DFW music scene with melodic acoustic guitar, dreamy lyrics and powerful harmonies.

A selection of $3 craft beer from HopFusion Ale Works will be available, complemented by gourmet small bites carefully crafted by the Museum's chef, Peter Kreidler. "Kimbell Social Club" is a free event and is open to the public. It is presented in partnership with the Fort Worth Weekly and HopFusion Ale Works.
