The latest Friday on the Green will feature performances by Feletha Black (6 pm), Jacob Furr (7 pm), and Vincent Neil Emerson (8 pm). The Lone Star Film Society will also present screenings of a series of short films. An artisan handicrafts market will be open from 6-10 pm, featuring 25+ vendors selling locally-made handcrafted items and fresh foods products.
Friday on the Green is a community concert series produced by Near Southside, Inc. and Near Southside Arts. It features the some of the region’s best live music, food and drinks from Near Southside eateries, and the fun and relaxed atmosphere of a big neighborhood picnic.
