The inaugural Bike to the Bend trail ride and happy hour will begin with a meetup at the Waterside REI store before cyclists take to the Trinity Trails for the five-mile ride to WestBend.
At WestBend, cyclists will get to enjoy drinks and eats at trailside restaurants HG Sply Co. and the new Bartaco, which offer scenic views of the Trinity River. Cyclists will then take a sunset ride back to Waterside where they’ll be greeted with a cold craft beer from Rahr & Sons Brewing Company.
Tickets are required to participate in Bike to the Bend. All proceeds will benefit Fort Worth Bike Sharing's First Mile program, which provides low cost access to the Fort Worth Bike Sharing system for low income and transit-dependent members of the Fort Worth community.
