The 30th Anniversary Season for the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth will come to a rousing conclusion with a concert featuring The Tempest Trio, an ensemble which has been “compared to the legendary trio of the late pianist Arthur Rubinstein, violinist Jascha Heifetz, and cellist, Gregor Piatigorsky in the 1940’s.” The Pre-Concert Conversation with Laurie Shulman will begin at 1:15 pm.
The Tempest Trio will present a program featuring the three B’s, but not the usual B’s we have come to expect. This time, in addition to masterpieces by Brahms and Beethoven, the program will include a piano trio by Amy Beach composed in 1938.
