Equest will bring its celebrity Mini Ambassadors, Cisco and Dare, to “neigh”borhood libraries throughout the summer for a unique equine story time experience. During each visit, Cisco and Dare (two miniature horses under 36” tall) and Equest Specialty Program and Outreach Director Jen Donahue will help children experience grooming, leading, and feeding a live horse while discussing basic equine behavior, communication, and care. The interactive event gives children the opportunity to meet the horses up close and reflect on a horse- or animal- related story.

  • July 18: Keller Library
  • July 19: Polk-Wisdom Branch Library
