The El Fuerte/Fort Worth Taco Fest a celebration of Cinco De Mayo, Mexican culture, and the kaleidoscopic Latin influence on Fort Worth. For many, Mexican cuisine was their first connection to the culture, and there’s not a more identifiable and enduring symbol of that bond than the taco.
Taco Fest, going on from 11 am-6 pm, will feature grub from dozens of area restaurants and food trucks in a celebrity judged competition, in addition to live music, theatrical performances, vendors, DJs, and enough beer to drown the Western hemisphere.
