Kimbell Art Museum presents Artist's Eye: Joseph Havel

eventdetail

Houston-based artist Joseph Havel will present a gallery talk in the Kimbell Art Museum's "Artist's Eye" series in the Piano Pavilion lobby. Jennifer Casler Price, curator for Asian and non-Western art, and Robert McAn, head of membership and special events at the Kimbell, will moderate this program.

Havel is a master of transforming the domestic and mundane into the poetic and timeless. In his hands, shirts, bed sheets, and drapes mutate from the ordinary into something otherworldly.
