Orchestra of New Spain presents Spanish Music from the Dance: The Age of Murillo to Boccherini

Orchestra of New Spain will celebrate Murillo with 17th and 18th century Spanish music of the dance, with its typical rhythms and ubiquitous presence of guitar and castanets. The concert will feature folîas and jácaras, chaconnes and seguidillas, all culminating in the Boccherini Guitar Quintet No. 4 “Fandango,” Featured will be guitarist Noé Garcia Jacinto playing a Rondo, and Dina Nesterenko playing violin solos of Albeniz and Rodrigo.
