SiNaCa Studios will present Vitro Moda, its eighth annual fundraising gala that blends glass (“vitro”) and fashion (“moda”) into an exciting runway show. This year’s event will also feature performances of selections from the Fort Worth Opera’s 2016 Festival, including the exclusive world premiere of JFK, as well as The Barber of Seville and Buried Alive | Embedded.
Drawing inspiration from these operas, couture models will walk the runway showcasing beautiful, one-of-a-kind glass art pieces created by artists around the country. The featured pieces will be available for purchase following the show. Other glass artwork designed specifically for Vitro Moda will be available during the silent auction before the runway show.
Vitro Moda supports SiNaCa Studios’ mission to provide North Texans an opportunity to experience glass art through events, education and community programs. One-hundred percent of silent auction proceeds and 50 percent of sales of featured runway pieces will benefit SiNaCa Studios.
