Stage West will present the 15th Annual Festival of the Kid, a three-day event showcasing 38 original plays, scenes, and monologues written by talented young writers ages 6 to 17.
The Festival of the Kid offers a unique opportunity for students 8-18 in the area to audition and perform in plays that were written by their peers. This year's performances cover a range of topics, from hilarious to thought-provoking.
The festival kicks off on Monday night with performances by the youngest writers and performers, 4th to 7th grade, and is kid-friendly. Tuesday and Wednesday focus on teen voices (age 13 and up) and are geared towards a more mature audience.
