Timeless Concerts presents London to Rome, featuring everything from English jigs to the familiar well-loved Neapolitan songs of Italy, to the music from the movie Red Violin
Selections will include "The Saint Paul Suite" from English composer Gustav Holst, as well as songs for soprano by Holst that will be sung by Youna Hartgraves. Tenor Sergio Cepeda will sing traditional Neapolitan songs, and both vocalists will perform Italian opera arias.
Violinist Tim Angel will perform the virtuosic Red Violin Caprices, composed for the 1998 drama film Red Violin by John Corigliano. Other performers include violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, pianist Heejung Kang, and cellist Oliver Schlaffer. Pianist Erik Barnes will be the post-concert party pianist.
