Two for One
Savvy menswear retailer announces Fort Worth debut this fall
In a bit of good news for the man who appreciates options, Q Fifty One just announced it's opening its fifth retail location at the Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth this fall.
Joining a luxe lineup that includes the newly opened Neiman Marcus, the move "presents the perfect opportunity for the brand to finally make the move into Fort Worth," says Matt Alexander, president and CEO of Q Fifty One Digital.
Last fall, Q Fifty One announced a merger with Edition Collective (parent company of Imprint and Foremost), resulting in an overhaul of Q Fifty One Digital, which focuses on e-commerce for Rye 51 and Q Clothier, the two menswear brands under the Q Fifty One umbrella.
The move was big for online business, and the brand is keeping the momentum going with its new physical location, catering to everyone from "prominent athletes and politicians to college students looking to invest in a better pair of jeans."
"All men like to dress well," says Alexander. "We just make it an easier and more dignified experience for them to do so. It's a concept that doesn't know boundaries."
An amalgam of custom and casual, the store is unique in its synthesis of two distinct menswear brands.
While Q Clothier offers bespoke suiting created from an extensive library of fabrics, Rye 51 — on the other side of the store, just beyond the fully stocked bar — features a curated assortment of casual-cool staples such as American-made jeans.
"When you combine those two into one physical space, you cater to virtually every facet of a man's wardrobe," says Alexander. "Enjoy a complimentary drink and get everything taken care of in one swoop. It makes for an utterly unique experience. "
