Austin-based delivery service Favor has expanded its Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington delivery zone in all directions everywhere, up, down, and across. The on-demand delivery app will now serve customers across Irving, Mesquite, Garland, Lewisville, Colleyville, Grapevine, North Fort Worth, Hurst, Euless, and Bedford.
With this expansion, the company will more than triple its coverage in Arlington and more than double its coverage across Dallas and Fort Worth. Dallas-Fort Worth now vaults to the position of Favor's largest metro area, making up 40 percent of the app's total delivery area coverage. Dallas-Fort Worth is Favor's fastest growing market and projected to be the company’s busiest market by the end of 2017.
To service this increased footprint, Favor will increase its "runner" base in the DFW market by adding 10,000 new DFW runners. Not only will Dallas-area residents get all the delivery, they'll get more job prospects, too.
Runners are independent contractors who can choose their hours, allowing them to earn extra income on a flexible schedule.
This addition of 10,000 new runners nearly doubles the 13,000 runners that were added in 2016. DFW residents interested in becoming a Runner can visit apply.favordelivery.com.
In honor of its DFW area expansion, Favor is celebrating this month with a number of discounts and deals:
- $50 in free delivery credit. All new users who download the Favor app and use the code FAVORTX will receive $50 in delivery credit to use on orders placed on or before July 31, 2017.
- $1 Delivery Weekend. From July 14-16, it'll be $1 deliveries all weekend long from a variety of restaurants including Joy Macarons, Pok the Raw Bar, Tacodeli, Sapa House, Cane Rosso, Ida Claire, Sixty Vines, Dutch's Hamburgers, Fireside Pies, Oni Ramen, Salsa Limon, Funnel Cakes & Gelato, Mama's Pizza, Piranha Killer Sushi, Social Bakehouse Cafe, and more.
Founded in Austin in 2013, Favor has grown to over 20,000 active runners and has delivered more than 5 million Favors to-date. It's available in 15 cities across Texas, where it is currently the best-rated delivery service.
