North Texas’ philanthropic festival and fight against cancer, BoobieQue, returns for another year of fundraising and fun, featuring a day of giving, games, auctions, live music, Heim Barbecue, MELT Ice Creams and ice cold beer with proceeds benefiting Cancer Care Services and The WARM Place.
There will be a full day of themed activities, such as Bra Pong and Titty Toss, a reinvented game of cornhole played with an assortment of breast implants, with the chance to win gift cards and scratch-offs. The event-favorite activity, Boobs and Butts, will return as a creative take on the classic "Heads or Tails," encouraging the flip of a coin, party beads, and a cash prize.
In addition to the festivities, the Texas Health Resources Mobile Health Unit will be on-site the day of the event providing screening mammograms for women. Women who schedule and complete mammograms will be granted free admission to BoobieQue.
This year’s fundraiser will focus on benefiting Cancer Care Services to facilitate a smoother process for patients throughout their journey. Cancer Care Services is a Fort Worth-based nonprofit that supports Tarrant County cancer patients and their families, caregivers and survivors through financial assistance, case management, counseling services and more. Donations from the 4th annual BoobieQue will also benefit Fort Worth’s The WARM Place, a grief and support center which provides peer-support groups for children and their families after the death of a loved one. This organization provides free group sessions and special programs for pre-kindergarten-aged children through young adults who have been affected by the loss of a parent, sibling, or other loved one.
