Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co. will release a Master Distiller’s Select Barrel pick of TX Bourbon Single Barrel. These 250, limited-edition bottles, were hand-selected from a single barrel by master distiller, Rob Arnold, for its unique flavor profile and characteristics.
The spirit was distilled and barreled at 120 proof in September 2015, spending three years aging at the former F&R distillery before moving to the Whiskey Ranch rickhouse for the fourth & final year. Arnold shares that the barrel has distinct fruity, caramel, brown spice and rich oak aromas with a touch more sweetness to the already complex and smooth profile. The result is one of the finest versions of TX Bourbon ever released.
The limited-edition bottles will be sold only at Whiskey Ranch. To celebrate the specialty release, Rob Arnold will be signing bottles throughout the night in conjunction with the holiday evening tours.
