In 1992, the Fort Worth Zoo reopened under the leadership of the Fort Worth Zoological Association through a public-private partnership with the City of Fort Worth. It was a pivotal moment in the Fort Worth Zoo’s history and launched the 30-year renaissance of the organization, setting in motion the creation of 18 new habitats, multiple conservation nonprofit partnerships and a generation of world-changing work saving species across the globe.
They'll celebrate with a special 30th Anniversary Festival, where visitors can spend the day with favorite animals, enjoy a variety of live musical acts throughout the park, take advantage of photo ops, interact with strolling characters, enjoy giveaways (while supplies last), and check out themed animal enrichment activities in habitats across the Zoo.
Admission will be half-price all day long.
