Arcadia Darling merges one of the earlier appearances of Peter Pan (In Kensington Gardens) with the more familiar tale that features adventures with Tinker Bell, The Lost Boys, and Captain Hook, while considering some of author J. M. Barrie’s childhood experiences as they relate to the birth of the character of Peter Pan. The show’s title is a nod to the mythic Pan, Greek god of wilderness and fertility, whose principal seat of worship was rustic Arcadia. The production features puppetry, movement, live music, and selected text.
