The 2020 Lone Star Film Festival will a virtual event, featuring 137 films from around the world with 16 countries represented. There will be 12 narrative feature films, nine documentary feature films, and 116 short films.
This year's Bill Paxton Achievement in Film award recipient is screenwriter and director, Paul Schrader. His illustrious career includes First Reformed, Affliction, The Last Temptation of Christ, The Mosquito Coast, Raging Bull, American Gigolo, and Taxi Driver.
Special guest Ethan Hawke will host an LSFF Film Talk with Schrader in which the two filmmakers will discuss the process of screenwriting and directing, as well as Schrader's current take on the film industry.
This Film Talk is free and will be available through LSFF social media platforms during the festival.
