Mayfest returns just in time to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayfest is bringing back all the cherished aspects of the festival - attractions, food and beverage, an expanded carnival, hours of live music and entertainment, and fun for the whole family.
The 50th Anniversary Celebration will begin with a Grand Opening event at the festival gate on Thursday, May 5. Fort Worth leaders and voices of Mayfest past will recognize the efforts of individuals and organizations that have grown the festival into what it is today. The celebration culminates with a festive parade.
With six unique areas of excitement and fun, Mayfest entertains patrons of all ages and interests. In addition to the carnival rides, there is the Oasis, where guests can enjoy a favorite beverage in the Craft Beer Garden and Wine Vineyard, or lounge in the VIP Patio and listen to bands on the Oasis Stage.
The Children’s Area will feature new, interactive activities including new crafts, a chalk house, a giant coloring tarp, and more.
Music headliners include The Squeeze Box Bandits, Brad Thompson, Legacy 4, Poo Live Crew, Me & My Monkey, and more.
Mayfest is the biggest party in Fort Worth, featuring four days of live music, festival food, carnival rides, performing arts, pet adoptions, more than 60 Art and Gift Market vendors, children's activities, special attractions, and more.
