Crockett Creates is a family-friendly arts festival in partnership with the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. This all-day block party will showcase the work of more than 30 regional artists including paintings, photography, handcrafted goods and multi-dimensional pieces.
Artists will offer a hands-on, interactive art activity for event attendees to practice their creative talents in various mediums, while the artists’ works will be displayed indoors and outdoors along Crockett Street. The event will also feature a kids’ zone with a special interactive activity led by artist Brandi Cottingham and a performance by Fort Worth’s Kids Who Care Inc. Musical Theatre at 1 pm on the main stage.
Numerous local musicians will perform live on stage throughout the event. Artist David Rodriguez, also known as Dr Gorilla, will take the stage with his team to create three large pieces while the popular '90s cover band – The Dick Belding Band performs. The completed pieces will be donated to the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.
