Deep Ellum coworking veteran opens in Fort Worth's Crockett Row
Coworking pioneer Common Desk has opened its Fort Worth location in the newly dubbed "Crockett Row" at West 7th Street. The fourth location for Common Desk, it boasts 13,000 square feet of shared office space, with memberships ranging from single desks to private offices.
Common Desk was founded in Deep Ellum in 2012 to provide coworking space for freelancers, remote workers, startups, small businesses, and growing companies. Every membership, whether a traditional coworking deal or a private office, includes flexible terms and amenities. This makes it a viable office solution for those looking to lower overhead costs.
Common Desk Fort Worth, which opened October 9, has 75 shared desk seats, 110 dedicated desks, 25 private offices, and five conference rooms, providing all membership levels with unlimited usage on a monthly basis.
Other features include an outdoor patio, high-speed wifi, shared bicycles, and storage lockers. There's also a hospitality bar with small bites, coffee, and beer on tap.
Members get unlimited conference room usage, a business mailing address with complimentary mail handling, printing services, bottomless coffee and beer, and weekly community events.
Current members include professionals from oil and gas, bookkeeping, digital marketing, protection and awareness training, and photography.
Common Desk is not the first coworking space in the neighborhood. The Backlot, a coworking space inside Red Productions on Foch Street, opened four years ago. Ensemble Coworking is a smaller space in the Near Southside, and Craftwork has two locations, on Camp Bowie Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue, with a third location on Carroll Street coming soon.
