Top chocolatier expands sweet empire to Fort Worth
Specialty chocolate company Kate Weiser Chocolate has opened a new location, this one in Fort Worth at the Shops at Clearfork. According to a release, the store opened on October 8.
This is the third location for the chocolate company, but the first in Fort Worth. The original shop is located in Trinity Groves, the West Dallas restaurant incubator project. The second is a NorthPark counter that opened in late 2016.
Founder-owner Kate Weiser grew her business from making a few pieces of chocolate at home to currently producing almost 18,000 bonbons per week. She's also known for distinctive specialty seasonal treats including pumpkins and candy-filled skulls for Halloween, and the famous “Carl the Snowman,” a drinking chocolate snowman made out of dark chocolate, stuffed with powdered drinking chocolate mix and mini marshmallows.
"We are excited to serve new customers in Fort Worth while still being close to home in Trinity Groves," Weiser says in a release.
The Fort Worth location will feature all of Kate Weiser’s 26 signature bonbons in unique flavors like Strawberry Basil, Mango Habanero, Sweet Potato, and Red Wine & Berries, handcrafted candy bars, homemade chocolate bars and seasonal treats.
Store hours are 10 am-9 pm Monday through Saturday, and 12-6 pm Sunday.
