$2.9 million Fort Worth penthouse aims for the top with TV star-studded firm
Residential real estate firm Douglas Elliman Texas — which draws star power from the Bravo reality TV show Million Dollar Listing — just made its official entry into the Fort Worth home sales market. And as you’d expect, it’s a nearly $2.9 million listing.
Douglas Elliman Texas is seeking a buyer for a two-story penthouse at Montgomery Plaza. The asking price: $2.895 million. The historic Montgomery Plaza condo project has been home to notables like billionaire Sid Bass and designer Fran Chiles.
“The penthouse is a rare find, as it is the only one in the building with unobstructed downtown views and is one of five units that make up The Private Residences, which come with additional perks such as a private elevator and five assigned spaces in the parking garage,” Douglas Elliman Texas says in a release.
Aside from the downtown views, private elevator, and five assigned parking spaces, the 3,483-square-foot penthouse features:
- Three bedrooms.
- Three-and-a-half bathrooms.
- Rooftop terrace.
- 19-foot ceilings.
- Library with custom cabinetry and full bathroom.
- Trumeau-style door frames.
- 12-coat, French-lacquered woodwork.
- Polished marble.
- Herringbone wood floors.
- Second-floor game room with wet bar.
- Ground-floor stores and restaurants.
- Easy access to the Cultural District and Trinity Park.
- Renovated interior designed by Fort Worth’s Holly Lydick.
Deborah Arnold of Douglas Elliman Texas has the listing, at 2600 W. Seventh St., #2806.
Arnold is among the agents who recently launched Douglas Elliman Texas. The firm operates offices in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston. Million Dollar Listing stars Fredrik Eklund, John Gomes, and Julia Spillman are members of the firm’s Texas team.
Established in 1911, Douglas Elliman is the second largest independent residential real estate brokerage in the U.S. as measured by sales volume. Douglas Elliman, a subsidiary of Miami-based Vector Group Ltd., posted revenue of $774 million in 2020 on sales of $29.1 billion.
