Office space
Shoot your next viral TikTok vid at this creative new Fort Worth coworking space
As workers transition back to the office, the last place anyone wants to be is a dull, dark cubicle between a bunch of strangers at a soulless brown coworking building. Enter BLANC Cowork + Studio, Fort Worth's newest coworking space designed specifically with community, collaboration, and colorful creativity in mind.
How colorful? There's even a Museum of Neon Lights inside. (Read on.)
Perhaps more important are the other extra features that are hard to come by in Fort Worth: photo and video studios that can be booked by the hour by anyone who might need one, without a membership to the whole place. Some photographers and videographers (gasp!) drive all the way to Dallas for studio jobs.
"Conceived with the Fort Worth creative community in mind, the 7,000-square-foot converted industrial collaborative workspace and studio is equipped to support photography, video, visual art, and other creative musings," says a release.
Located at 2212 W. Peter Smith St. near the buzzy Near Southside and South Main areas, BLANC opened amid the pandemic but will host a grand opening celebration 2-6 pm Saturday, July 10.
“The creative community is growing in Fort Worth, and it's exciting to be a part of it," says BLANC co-founder George Apodaca in the release. "We want to do our part to help it continue to move forward."
Features of the space include:
- Studio A - 1,000-square-foot fully equipped production studio with white cyc wall and RGB lighting
- Studio B - 408-square-foot photography or production studio with ample natural light
- Studio C - 310-square-foot turnkey studio, sound-treated with pre-lit green screen and various backgrounds
- BLANC Space - 2,500-square-foot industrial open-concept shooting area with natural light and various backdrops
- Kitchen - 450-square-foot industrial loft-style kitchen with ample natural light
- 12 hot desks
- 10 dedicated desks
- 3 private offices
According to the website, memberships range from $225 per month for shared desks to $750 per month for private offices.
But booking the photo or video studio only requires a two-hour commitment, easily enough time to produce an award-winning YouTube makeup tutorial or viral TikTok fitness vid. Prices range from $75 to $100 per hour.
You can also rent the kitchen for your Chopped audition tape for $75 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
And, about that The Museum of Neon Lights — they call it “an utterly immersive photo-ready art experience.” Totes Instagrammy.
The public can check it all out at the July 10 grand opening, which will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, raffle giveaways, live music, food from local vendors, studio tours, and interactive art experiences.
