Con Mi Madre is a two-generation organization that empowers young Latinas and their mothers through education and support services that increase preparedness, participation, and success in post-secondary education. Con Mi Madre translates to "with my mother," which exemplifies the unique element of the programming that intentionally engages mothers in their daughters' educational journey from 6th grade through college graduation.
Making an impact on a young Latina's future and that of her families can easily be done by volunteering your time and talents. From programming to development, they are always seeking volunteers to lend an extra hand. There are opportunities as conference presenters, logistical conference volunteers, mentors, gala committee members, gala volunteers, and general operations work. There are several opportunities throughout the year for the community to get involved.
The Corazón Awards is the annual flagship gala and largest fundraiser. Guests experience a night of food, fun, and inspiration as members from the community who have made an impact on the organization and in the lives of those they serve are recognized.
