The Baylor Scott & White All Saints Health Foundation exists to support the Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center-Fort Worth in serving all people through exemplary healthcare and education. The Foundation maintains more than $43 million in endowed funds and $13 million in temporarily restricted funds. In the last five years, the Foundation has funded more than $32 million in capital improvements, equipment, staff education, and other Medical Center needs. The Foundation continues to build partnerships with individuals, foundations, and corporations, all of whom have an extraordinary devotion to Fort Worth and the care and concerns of its citizens.
The best way to get involved with the Foundation is to check out the website or follow on social media (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) to see what is happening. Find something that interests you, such as attending an event to support the Foundation, or host an event of your own. The Foundation also participates in AmazonSmile and the Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Program so you can support while you shop.
Each January, the Baylor Scott & White All Saints Health Foundation hosts a fundraising event, Beyond the Bag, benefiting the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center. Since 2011, Beyond the Bag has raised more than $2.3 million to support critical non-medical cancer support services to individuals with a cancer diagnosis. The Center's three nurse navigators and two lay navigators (individuals who have experienced cancer) provide navigation, education, counseling, and comfort, free of charge so no one has to face cancer alone. Beyond the Bag is an evening celebration that features dinner, dancing, fabulous auction items, and inspiring stories of hope. The highlight of the evening is the Lexus raffle where one lucky person will win a brand new Lexus, donated by the Dallas-Fort Worth Lexus Dealers Association. Sponsorship and ticket information is located on the Foundation website.
