Healing Shepherd Clinic staff and volunteers work closely with John Peter Smith Health Network to ensure that the indigent patients are provided prescription medications, diagnostic evaluations, and specialty care at no cost. They understand and serve the health and wellness needs of the residents and guests of the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County in the spirit of the Christian community.
In-kind donations (brown paper lunch bags, snack-sized Ziploc bags, nasal saline, cough drops, etc.) are the best way to help out the Healing Shepherd Clinic patients. Healing Shepherd Clinic hosts a benefit each spring in downtown Fort Worth to help raise funds for the clinic's expenses. The event is free, and spotlights keynote speakers who have been impacted by the clinic and Union Gospel Mission.
