Now in its fifth year, the fashion fete fundraiser has some serious sole in benefiting Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County. Shoe-lovers kick up their heels while sipping varietals from some of the country’s top winemakers, shop the latest fashion trends in the multi-designer marketplace, dine on a delicious buffet dinner, cheer on local Celebrity Models as they strut the runway and swoon over charming “Sole Men” serving up this season’s must-haves on silver platters.

Returning this year as a celebrity model is Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, who will be joined by 13 local leading ladies wearing fashions by Dillard’s in a runway show presented by Karl Marshall.  The 2016 Celebrity Models include:

  • Jennifer Casler-Price – Kimbell Art Museum
  • Lezlie Davis – Community Volunteer
  • Kelly Allen Grey – City of Fort Worth Councilwoman, District 8
  • Anne Holland – Certified Financial Planner
  • Leah King – United Way
  • Nancy Lamb – Artist
  • Lisa Lankes – Justin Boots
  • Teel Lunsford – Pauline’s Smile
  • Rattana Mao – Comerica Bank
  • Lynn Montgomery – Plains Capital Bank
  • Raegan Pebley – TCU Women’s Basketball Coach
  • Valerie Pfaff – D Method Pilates
  • Betsy Price – City of Fort Worth Mayor
  • Victoria Wise – Briggs Freeman and Tanglewood Moms

The ever-popular “Sole Men” –  dozens of the community’s most charming gentleman – include Glen Hahn of Innovative Developers, Inc., Brian Happel of BBVA Compass, Barry King of Brothers Sauces and Peter Kreidler of Swiss Pastry Shop. Fashion partners include new additions of one-of-a-kind accessories by Mustard Seed Jewelry, independent fashion by Casey and Co. and florals by The Greenhouse 817. Additional retailers include Esther Penn, J. McLaughlin, Keeping Up with the Joneses, Kendra Scott, Love 13, Pallet to Palette, Sassy Pantz and Stanley Eisenman Fine Shoes. Twenty percent of the evening’s sales benefit Communities In Schools.

Wineries in attendance will be Barton & Guestier, Connundrum/Emmolo, DeLoach, Deutsch Family, Emmolo, JCB, Justin/Landmark, Raymond, Via One Hope, and the White Knight. The fifth annual fundraiser is chaired by Kay Sanders, with a host committee including Kami Bedford, Rachael Capua, Catherine Cargile, Angie Chavira, Beth Engelhardt, Cynthia Farquharson, Robin Froeschke, Linda Garcia, Lindsey Garner, Michelle Johnson, Leah King, Carley Moore, Rebecca Rucker and Chandler Wallace.
