Ballet Frontier presents The Nutcracker: Kingdom of Sweets, featuring a shortened version of The Nutcracker to accommodate social distancing on stage and off, plus performances of Ballet Frontier fan favorites such as White Swan Pas de Deux and Butterfly Lovers.
Each performance will include the Snow Scene and second act of The Nutcracker and an additional performance. These performances include Le Corsaire Pas de Deux; Moldau by Artistic Director Chung-Lin Tseng; White Swan Pas de Deux with live musical accompaniment from Fort Worth Symphony Concertmaster and first violinist Swang Lin; Come Together and Oh Darling! featuring music by The Beatles; and back by popular demand, Butterfly Lovers and Andante & Finale choreographed by Mr. Tseng.
The production is the only professional performance of The Nutcracker in Fort Worth this holiday season. To keep dancers and audiences safe, temperature checks, face coverings, and social distancing will be required and enforced at each performance.
