Fort Works Art will bring poignant and timely social issues into the spotlight as the gallery celebrates Spring Gallery Night with its newest three-part exhibition. Running concurrently, the shows - “Out of Focus,” “My Eyes Are Up Here,” and “A Sentimental Circus” - take aim at the complex and emotionally charged topics of cultural and gender identity from the first-person view points of a quintet of passionate and engaging artists. Through their stunning visual narratives, the artists will transform the blank walls of FWA's contemporary gallery into a laboratory for self-examination and meditation, challenging audiences' understanding and attitudes about these hot-button sociopolitical matters.
The exhibits will be on display through May 5.
