The Fort Worth African American Roots Music Fest will feature performances by 19 acclaimed artists from across the country. Headliners include Buffalo Nichols, Martha Redbone, Sunny War, and more.

FWAAMFest is the only major city festival in the nation focused on blackness in old-time, early blues, bluegrass, and folk across North American, Black-led and showcasing Black performers and scholars.The event is produced by Decolonizing the Music Room, a nonprofit that works to center Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Asian voices in music education, research, and performance.
