Gaylord Texan Resort will present its 14th annual Lone Star Christmas event. The event will feature a variety of holiday activities, live entertainment, and grand displays to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Visitors of all ages will be delighted as the property’s four-and-a-half acres of indoor gardens transform into a magical winter wonderland offering so much to see and do.

Decorations throughout the 125-acre property will include two million holiday lights, two million pounds of hand-carved ice, a 54-foot tall Christmas tree, 15,000 ornaments, magical miniature train sets, 25-foot tall toy soldiers, 2,300 wreaths, 5,600 feet of garland, and more.

40 remarkably talented master ice artisans from Harbin, China, will travel halfway around the world to carve 2 million pounds of ice into magical holiday scenes, brilliant characters, an “On the Blocks” ice bar (21 & up), and five two-story tall ice slides – all taking visitors through a brand new theme featuring the classic holiday poem, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. The 14,000-square-foot ice attraction will make visitors feel as though they have been transported to the North Pole.
