Riscky’s BBQ, the 97-year-old Fort Worth BBQ legend, will host its 18th annual Rib-Eating Competition. The competition will challenge up to 30 barbecue enthusiasts to eat as many Riscky’s beef ribs as possible in just 60 seconds. The top qualifiers will then go head-to-head to win hundreds of dollars in Riscky's gift cards.
All participants must pay a $5 entry fee at the door on the day of the event, and sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to 30 participants). Participants must be 18 years of age or older, and minors are eligible if accompanied by a parent or guardian. All participants will receive a complimentary Riscky’s t-shirt.
Riscky’s famous rib-eating battle will be held in tandem with a series of celebratory events hosted by the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District in honor of the National Day of the American Cowboy.
