Trinity Metro resumes full service after winter weather disruptions

TEXRail will resume normal schedules on Thursday, January 29.
After nearly a week of disruptions due to winter weather, Trinity Metro will restore service across the system effective Thursday. January 29.
Beginning Thursday, Trinity Metro services will operate on their regular schedules, a release says. The operations team will continue to monitor roadway accessibility and weather conditions for safety considerations.
“Thank you to our customers, our community, and our team members for their patience and support throughout this winter weather event,” says Richard Andreski, president and CEO of Trinity Metro, in the release. “Every decision we made was guided by safety and the realities of winter weather. At the end of the day, this isn’t just about vehicles on the road — it’s about making sure the people who use our system and the people who operate these vital services are able to get home safely.”
Throughout the weather event, Trinity Metro evaluated conditions by service type, taking into account roadway accessibility, winter weather impacts, and operating conditions. Decisions were made to balance mobility with safety for customers and team members, they say.
