The Queen Visits Texas
Oprah mounts first tour in 5 years and DFW is the only Texas stop
Oprah Winfrey is embarking on her first national arena tour in five years, "Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus." The tour will make its only stop in Texas when it comes to American Airlines Center in Dallas on February 15, 2020.
Joined by special guests, Winfrey will host a full-day wellness event that aims to motivate the audience to make 2020 the year of renewal and celebrate all we are meant to be.
“What I know for sure is we can all come together to support a stronger, healthier, more abundant life — focused on what makes us feel energized, connected, and empowered,” says Winfrey in a September 4 release. “As I travel the country, my hope for this experience is to motivate others to let 2020 be the year of transformation and triumph — beginning first and foremost with what makes us well."
Attendees will spend the day with Winfrey as she shares the personal ups and downs of her wellness journey and guides them to develop their own 2020 action plan through conversations, the latest in wellness research, and interactive workbook exercises. Winfrey will also sit down for a one-on-one conversation with a celebrity guest.
In addition to Dallas, the tour will stop in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; St. Paul, Minnesota; Charlotte, North Carolina; Brooklyn, New York; Atlanta; San Francisco; Los Angeles; and Denver.
The tour is sponsored by WW — Weight Watchers Reimagined, and thus the WW community will have exclusive access to presale tickets at 10 am Monday, September 9. American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning at 10 am September 10 through 10 pm September 12. Tickets go on sale to the general public on September 13 through Ticketmaster.com.
More than $1 million from tour proceeds will benefit WW Good, the philanthropic arm of WW that helps bring fresh, healthy food to underserved communities nationwide.
